Plain-English summary: the Acutis Go agent is observe-only. It reports network and machine diagnostics — not your files, keystrokes, screen, or browsing. We don't sell your data. You can uninstall the agent and delete your account at any time.

1. What the agent collects

When you install the Acutis Go agent, it periodically reports technical diagnostics about the device and its network to help answer "is it the network or the machine?":

Network signals: default gateway and its latency/loss, DNS resolution time, internet reachability and latency, Wi-Fi network name and signal strength, and your network's public IP address.
Machine signals: CPU and memory usage, active connection counts, network adapter names, IP and MAC addresses, and operating-system event-log entries about driver/disk/hardware/authentication issues.
Device identity: hostname, operating system and version, and an agent identifier created at enrollment.

2. What the agent does NOT collect

The agent does not read or transmit the contents of your files, documents, emails, messages, keystrokes, screen, camera, microphone, or web-browsing history. It holds no passwords or device credentials, opens no inbound connections, and executes no remote commands beyond a fixed list of read-only diagnostics.

3. Other information we collect

Account & contact: email address and any details you provide when you sign up, join the founder list, or download the agent.
Payments: processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation and billing metadata (e.g., your email and subscription status) but never see or store full card numbers.
Usage: standard server logs (IP address, request times) for security and reliability.

4. How we use it

To run the service (compute the diagnostic verdict, power your dashboard and support-code lookups), to provide support, to process payments and manage subscriptions, to send service and product communications, and to secure and improve the product.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that operate the product under contract (e.g., our cloud host and Stripe for payments), or where required by law. Support-code lookups are scoped to your own organization and the short-lived code you generate.

6. Retention

Telemetry is stored as the latest snapshot per device plus a limited history. You can delete a device, your account, and associated data at any time by contacting us; we delete or anonymize it within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, email support@acutisgo.com. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), the agent communicates outbound-only, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Children

Acutis Go is a business product not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
