What it checks
Windows Server edition only. File shares are opened by a separate, small service, the Acutis Gate File Broker, which runs as the server and acts only for Gate.
What you might see
| Problem | Acutis Gate File Broker service is not running or named pipe is unreachable. | File shares cannot be opened. |
| OK | Acutis Gate File Broker service is running and named pipe answers ping. | Fine. |
How to fix it
- Open Services → Acutis Gate File Broker → Start (Startup type: Automatic (Delayed Start)).
- Still failing? Run Start → Acutis Gate → Set up Acutis Gate again: it repairs both services and keeps your data.
