Check id gate.policy

What it checks

Shows how your rules are being applied: learning mode (no rules yet), dry run (rules recorded but not enforced) or enforced.

Check	Learning mode: everything is allowed and recorded.	Normal for the first weeks. No AI call is blocked yet.
Check	Policy v3 is in DRY RUN: it records what it would block but blocks nothing.	Rules exist and are being tried out.
OK	Policy v4 is enforced (12 rules).	Deny by default is on.

When the trail covers a normal week of use: Guardrails → Build from the trail.
Review the drafted allow and needs-approval rules, then Test as a person for a few real people.
Save with Dry run on first. When the audit trail shows only expected "would deny" rows, save again with Dry run off.
