Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Acutis Go supports app-based two-factor authentication (TOTP — Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).

Turn it on

  1. Go to Account → Security in your dashboard.
  2. Choose Enable two-factor.
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code to confirm. 2FA is now required at login.

Lost your phone? Reset 2FA

If you've lost the device with your authenticator, you can recover access — you don't need your old phone.

  1. On the login screen, choose Can't access your authenticator? (MFA reset).
  2. Enter your email and password to prove it's you.
  3. We email you a secure reset link.
  4. Open it and you'll be taken straight to set up two-factor again with your new phone.

Keep your password safe

MFA reset requires your account password, so your password is the anchor of your account security. Use a strong, unique one and store it in a password manager.

Change your email or password

From Account → Security:

  • Change password — enter your current password and the new one.
  • Change email — we send a confirmation to the new address; the change applies once you verify it, so a typo can't lock you out.

Delete your account

Account → Delete account permanently removes your account and associated data. This also de-enrolls your agents. This cannot be undone.

What the agent collects

The agent is observe-only and, when enrolled, sends diagnostic telemetry (network path, DNS, Wi-Fi, public IP, machine/cert health) — never personal files or screen contents. See Privacy.
