Security & MFA¶
Two-factor authentication (2FA)¶
Acutis Go supports app-based two-factor authentication (TOTP — Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).
Turn it on¶
- Go to Account → Security in your dashboard.
- Choose Enable two-factor.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm. 2FA is now required at login.
Lost your phone? Reset 2FA¶
If you've lost the device with your authenticator, you can recover access — you don't need your old phone.
- On the login screen, choose Can't access your authenticator? (MFA reset).
- Enter your email and password to prove it's you.
- We email you a secure reset link.
- Open it and you'll be taken straight to set up two-factor again with your new phone.
Keep your password safe
MFA reset requires your account password, so your password is the anchor of your account security. Use a strong, unique one and store it in a password manager.
Change your email or password¶
From Account → Security:
- Change password — enter your current password and the new one.
- Change email — we send a confirmation to the new address; the change applies once you verify it, so a typo can't lock you out.
Delete your account¶
Account → Delete account permanently removes your account and associated data. This also de-enrolls your agents. This cannot be undone.
What the agent collects¶
The agent is observe-only and, when enrolled, sends diagnostic telemetry (network path, DNS, Wi-Fi, public IP, machine/cert health) — never personal files or screen contents. See Privacy.
