FAQ

Is the agent free? Yes. The agent and the local verdict are free forever. Paid tiers add the fleet dashboard, alerts, history, and the network appliance — see Billing.

Does it change anything on my machine or network? No. Acutis Go is observe-only. It reads diagnostics and reports a verdict; it never changes settings or pushes configuration.

Do I need admin rights? The installer sets up a background service (which needs elevation once, at install). Day-to-day use and the status window do not.

Does it work without internet? Yes. The verdict is computed locally, so acutis-go -status and the status window work fully offline. Cloud features (fleet dashboard, public IP) need connectivity.

What platforms are supported? Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon + Intel), and Linux on amd64 and arm64 — including Raspberry Pi.

What data leaves my machine? Nothing, unless you enroll it in a fleet. When enrolled, it sends diagnostic telemetry (latency, DNS, gateway, Wi-Fi signal, public IP, driver/cert health) to your backend — never files or screen contents.

What's a support code? A short six-character code that identifies a machine to support without anyone reading out IP or MAC addresses. See Support codes.

How do I move my machine to a different account or fleet? Run acutis-go -deenroll, then acutis-go -enroll gojoin-XXXX with the new fleet's code.

I lost my 2FA phone — am I locked out? No. You can reset 2FA with your email and password — see Security & MFA.

How do I cancel? Open the billing portal from your dashboard and cancel — access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. See Billing.
